On Friday, 27 November 2025, the final day of the First International Conference on Pharmacy and Medical and Health Development was held.
It was organized by the Erbil Medical Technical Institute under the supervision of (Prof. Dr. Edrees Taher Mohammed Harki), Rector of Erbil Polytechnic University, and with the attendance of (Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asangar), Vice Rector of the University for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, members of the University Council, the representatives of the lecturers (Dr. Farhangi Ali) and (Asst. Prof. Dr. Eyad Zaki Saber), Dean of the Engineering College, (Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohsin Sharif Sherwani), Dean of the Erbil Technical Administrative College, (Dr. Abdul Samad Salahaddin), Dean of the Pharmacy College at Tishk University, (Asst. Prof. Dr. Shahid Jamil), Dean of the Pharmacy College at Knowledge University, and the head of the conference (Asst. Prof. Dr. Tiran Jamil Piro), Dean of the Medical Technical Institute.
(Dr. Tareq Waisi Sadiq), Deputy Dean and conference organizer, the heads of departments, and a number of lecturers, staff, and students of the institute were also present.
During the final day of the conference, a number of specialists, researchers, and national and international doctors were present to present several valuable research papers.
It is worth mentioning that the conference ended successfully. After the closing of the conference, (Dr. Tareq Waisi Sadiq) read the conference recommendations to the participants, and certificates and appreciation awards were given to those who presented research and received approval from the research evaluation committees.
At the end, the conference speech was delivered by (Asst. Prof. Dr. Botan Majid Asangar), Vice Rector of the University for Scientific Affairs and Higher Education, in both Kurdish and English for the international guests.
After congratulating the conference president and all the organizing committees, he highlighted the importance of holding this conference and requested the continuation of more conferences in the future, especially with greater participation from local and international universities and more researchers in upcoming events.
